Companies Get Blamed for People's Financial Situations
When asked, "How much do you blame each of the following groups or individuals for your financial situation?" 63% of Americans cite large corporations, which come third on the blame list after Congress and Wall Street, according to the Harris Poll. Only 29% blame their employers — significantly fewer than blame themselves (39%) but more than blame their families (15%).
