Use Social Media to Reach the Right Job Applicants
In this job market, posting an open position on a major job board can mean spending a week reviewing thousands of résumés. Try using social media to help you reach the right candidates more efficiently. Tools such as Facebook and Twitter ensure that your job posting gets spread to people who are in the target industry or at the career level you are looking for. Post your next job opening on LinkedIn, Facebook, and on your own blog. Tweet the URL of your posting. People who are connected to you on one of these tools are more likely to be, or know, the right candidate for the job.
