* Barranqueras port to operate at full capacity in 2.5 years - govt official - Argentina

Argentina's northeastern Chaco province expects Barranqueras port to be operating at full capacity in 2.5 years, a local government official told BNamericas.

To achieve this, federal government signed a 600mn-peso (US$156mn) contract with the firm Hidrovía to renovate railway lines and bridges, purchase new rolling stock and rehabilitate existing trains and cars, the official said.
