* BG local production to hit 400,000boe/d by 2020 - Brazil

UK major BG Group expects its production in Brazil to reach more than 400,000boe/d net by 2020, company CEO Frank Chapman said in a conference call.

"Brazil is one or our main focuses. We might hit this threshold anytime after the second half of this decade," the executive said.

According to Chapman, production levels in Brazil will see a major transformation in the next years as operations at some of the pre-salt offshore oil fields begin to start up.
