* Genesys seeking to extend footprint in Brazil - Regional

US call center software provider Genesys will work this year to extend its presence in the Brazilian market, the company's channel sales manager for Latin America, Diego Palmieri, told BNamericas.

Genesys is looking to maintain its presence in its financial and telecommunications sector strongholds, while extending its presence to industries such as the country's government, outsourcers, utilities and hospitality and healthcare sectors.
