* Mujica looking for over US$3bn for projects, public spending - Uruguay

Uruguayan president-elect José Mujica is seeking over US$3bn from multilateral financial institutions to cover projects and public spending, an official from Mujica's team told BNamericas.

Mujica met with IDB and World Bank representatives last week to discuss the possibility of obtaining support to finance a number of government projects as well as public spending, the official said.
