* Piñera to name conservative as new energy minister - reports - Chile

Chile's president-elect Sebastián Piñera is set to nominate Ricardo Raineri, a professor at Chile's conservative Universidad Católica, as the country's new energy minister, local press reported.

Raineri holds a bachelor's and MA in economics from "La Católica," as it's known in Chile, and an MA and PhD in economics from the University of Minnesota, according to a CV posted on his personal website.
