* Braskem, Idesa, Pemex sign raw material agreement for Ethylene XXI - Brazil, Mexico
Brazilian petrochemical company Braskem (NYSE: BAK) and Mexican petrochemical group Idesa signed with Mexico's state oil company Pemex the investment and ethane supply agreement for the Ethylene XXI project in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz state, Braskem said in a statement.
Braskem and Idesa will invest US$2.5bn in the project in which they will hold 65% and 35% respective interests, though Pemex's involvement as a minority shareholder is still being analyzed.
