* CF submits EIA for nitrogen complex - Peru
Illinois-based fertilizer manufacturer and distributor CF Industries (NYSE: CF) has presented the EIA for its proposed nitrogen complex in San Juan de Marcona in Peru's southern Ica region to Peru's energy and mines ministry (MEM).
The project will demand an investment of US$2bn and includes the construction of a 2,600t/d ammonia plant and 3,850t/d urea plant, as well as port infrastructure, according to Peruvian state news agency Andina.
