* Foundry industry output to total 3Mt in 2010, says trade group - Brazil
Brazilian foundry association Abifa expects its member companies to produce some 3Mt this year compared to 2.3Mt in 2009, when the sector was severely impacted by the global crisis, Abifa president Devanir Brichesi said during a conference in São Paulo.
In 2009, output declined 31% from 3.4Mt in 2008. Revenues fell 37% to US$6.9bn from US$11bn.
Revenues this year are expected to reach some US$9bn, according to Brichesi.
