* MOP to speed up region IV airport concession tender - Chile

Chile's public works ministry (MOP) will speed up the tender to concession an airport in region IV's Tongoy town, public works minister Sergio Bitar told BNamericas.

Authorities learned a number of lessons from the earthquake that hit the country on February 27, one of which is the need for an alternative airport to handle international flights, Bitar said.
