* Angra II to remain offline for repair works - Eletronuclear - Brazil

Brazilian federal nuclear company Eletrobras Eletronuclear does not know when the 1.35GW Angra II nuclear plant will be reconnected to the national grid after one of the facility's generators malfunctioned, a spokesperson for the firm told BNamericas.

"The backup diesel generator 7 went faulty, and engineers are now assessing the situation. It might have to be replaced by a new one," the spokesperson said.
