Some People Have Outsized
Carbon Footprints
More than 60% of the greenhouse-gas emissions that are attributable to personal activities can be pinned on just 20% of individuals, according to a study in the UK by Christian Brand of Oxford and John M. Preston of the University of Southampton. Air travel dominates these emissions, the researchers say.
