BlackBerry Market Share Falls in U.S.
With the BlackBerry under pressure from iPhones and other devices, RIM's share of the U.S. smartphone market fell to 41% in the first quarter of 2010 from 55% the previous year. While the BlackBerry's overseas sales are increasing, handset-buying trends tend to originate in the U.S., according to a Reuters report appearing in The New York Times.
