Hiring Plans Reveal Firms'
Divergent Outlooks
Executives in the eurozone are more than twice as likely as those in any other region to say they expect a decline in the number of workers at their companies, according to a recent McKinsey survey. Meanwhile, executives in North America and China were more likely in June than in April — by 36% and 44%, respectively — to report that their companies intended to hire new workers.
