* NII posts US$59.6mn profit in Q4 - Regional

Latin American digital trunking operator NII Holdings (Nasdaq: NIHD) posted a US$59.6mn profit in 4Q09 compared to US$2mn in 4Q08 as the company saw record subscriber growth in Brazil, NII said in a statement.

Q4 consolidated operating revenues increased 25% year-over-year to US$1.23bn.

For the full year, net profit was US$381mn compared to US$342mn in 2008, while revenues were up 3% to US$4.40bn.
