* Pemex finally shows Chicontepec increase in Q1 - Mexico
Mexican state oil company Pemex's E&P subsidiary PEP produced 34,960b/d from its Chicontepec project in the first quarter of 2010, up 24.4% from 28,102b/d in 1Q09, according to figures from energy ministry Sener.
After output at Chicontepec hovered around 30,000b/d in 2009, the first quarter has showed the first marked improvement from the field since Sener began publishing production figures for the area at the beginning of 2009.
