* Corp Banca targets SMEs, sees loans rising 8% in 2010 - Chile

Chilean bank Corp Banca (NYSE: BCA) will try to outpace the market's 8% real-term projected loan growth by growing faster in the SME segment than in other segments this year, CEO Mario Chamorro told reporters.

Consumer loan growth picked up in 2H09 after a sluggish first half, and Chamorro said he believes that segment will keep gaining steam this year. Mortgage lending remained fairly active throughout the whole of last year, he added.
